ExportRim offers three main types of programs to enable you to choose which model best fits your current expertise. You can elect to join additional programs when your resources grow.

Affiliate Marketing is for referral and reseller partners. Referral partner is the simplest program where you receive a one-time commission for each successful referral. Reseller partner requires a minimal commitment to promote authorized services offered by ExportRim through your channels. Reseller partners are eligible for recurring commissions.

Event Organizer program is for entities that host trade-related events and networking meetings to promote events to assist business development and marketing. Organizers can charge for events or provide them for free.

Service Provider program is opened to individuals and companies that can provide services to assist, develop, promote, and manage international trade. Service providers are required to quote and complete projects to receive payments.

ExportRim welcomes anyone that can provide professional services in facilitating international trade to join the partner network.

Individual applicant

Individual applicants must possess relevant working experience in the provided service and/or post-secondary education. The applicant shall also provide a self-introduction presentation or public professional profile for ExportRim’s evaluation.

Reference and contact information are required to be provided for the Service Provider program during the application process. This information will be strictly used for ExportRim’s evaluation purposes.

New graduates can apply as a trainee to be guided by a local expert.

Corporate and trade-support organization

Organizations must be incorporated in the country of service. A copy of the incorporation certificate, as well as a reference, is required during the application process. In addition, please provide the website address of the applying organization. The website must be publicly available, with a domain name associated with the applicant organization. Dedicated social media accounts or eCommerce stores may also be considered in lieu of websites.

Select the appropriate Partner Program then complete the application form. ExportRim has established individual agent, corporate and trade support organization programs. Each program has different application requirements.

Any of the following can apply for ExportRim partner programs:

1. An independent free lancer
2. A business owner with registered company
3. An employee of a registered company
4. Industry association
5. Government association

ExportRim will verify each applicant's background and qualifications. The key areas ExportRim seeks to verify are:

• Authenticity of applicant
• Authenticity of applicant's experience and qualifications
• Intend of using the ExportRim network
• Online interview to evaluate service provider expertise level

Each applicant is required to upload references and their contact information. ExportRim will send confirmation to the references as one of several verification steps.

When a client has a need for export service, each client will select and contact one or more potential virtual agents via the ExportRim “Request for Quote”. The client should include as much information as possible so that a service provider could prepare the most relevant proposal and best fee quotation. A service provider may reach to a potential client through the ExportRim messaging center to clarify project requirements.

Projects could also be listed on our project platform, where service providers could submit offers for those projects. These projects are offered to selected experienced partners only.

Once both parties agree to a project, the scope, terms, fee, service description will be recorded in ExportRim system according to the final proposal as confirmed by both parties.

All agreed fees are paid to ExportRim and hold in a trustee account.

Partners are paid commissions for ExportRim services, and the fees agreed with clients. Out-of-pocket expenses may or may not be inclusive in the fees. If a client agreed to pay out-of-pocket expense, official expense records such as receipts should be provided by the partner.

ExportRim will pay according to the agreed fees and terms with the clients, net of commission, and applicable tax. The commission is calculated based on the program you selected and your professional experience.

Currently all payments are made to partners via bank transfer. Wire transfer fee is applicable for each payment. Please ensure the bank account details are complete and correct. When new payment methods are available, ExportRim will notify partners of the new options.
